Notes:
The script is arranged in three columns. The left column is for stage action and text. The two right columns are for video ( image and sound) and also for additional sound.and lighting cues.
Not visible on the script is the text from Karel Capeks R.U.R. which is recorded in the style of a radio play and heard throughout the piece alongside the other action. It fades up and down during the course of the performance, sometimes it is clearly audible during otherwise quiet moments, sometimes it forms part of a texture of sound with other sources and only scraps of sentences can be made out.
The R.U.R. tapes is faded up and down by the performers during the show and the way in which this is done varies each performance. The performers may choose to raise or lower the volume at any time during the piece.
Also not visible on the script are the slides which are changed during the show again at the will of the performers. These are all slides of text and can be read at slide text link.
